Ozone
Ozone is activated oxygen gas. It can be used to kill the bacteria that causes
cavities and gum disease. It is safe, painless and effective. It can be applied to
teeth and gums very simply.

Prep Start (Air Abrasion)
Prep Start H2O
Is a mini sandblaster with compressed air and water along with abrasive powders
such as aluminum oxide and baking soda that are used to remove stains and
cavities. In some cases this is an alternative to using the rotary hand drill and
novacaine. This also reduces the amount of healthy tooth removal and is great
for kids and adults!
VELscope 
VELscope® is a revolutionary hand-held device that provides dentists and
hygienist with an easy-to-use adjucntive mucosal examination system for early
detection of abnormal tissue. It is based on the direct visualization of tissue
fluorescence that occur when abnormalities are present.The VELscope Handpiece
emits a safe blue light into the oral cavity, helps differentiate between normal
and abnormal tissue. In fact, VELscope is the only non-invasive adjucntive device
clinically proven to help discover occult oral disease.
Digital X-rays
Our new Dexis digital x-rays utilize the least amount of radiation for all our
patients and no longer do we need to use the old regular film. The digital
software is downloaded directly into our computers and within a matter of
seconds your x-ray is up and viewable. With so many new features and its
easy access this will make your dental visit a breeze.
Diagnodent (Laser cavity detector)
Like a laser pointer it has a small red light that we shine over the teeth to detect
cavities. Unlike most conventional examination methods the Diagnodent® can
detect early stage changes that would go undiagnosed by simply poking with a
sharp instrument.
Soft Tissue Laser
We use our state of the art soft tissue laser in the treatment of gum disease. We
have seen a significant reduction in pocket depths with its use. We also use it to
gently reshape and recontour gums that are overgrown and to create a more
pleasing smile. Canker sores,apthous ulcers and fever blisters have also have
benefited from it's use
Digital Photography
To capture the great essence of your teeth and smiles, we currently use a
Cannon 20D with a 100mm macro lens and Cannon ring flash. These photos show
incredible detail of your teeth and are a great benefit in communicating with our
laboratories and insurance companies to better assist you.
Satellite Radio/Headphones
We play XM satellite radio throughout the office to create a relaxing commercial free environment. Patients also have the option to use stereo noise canceling headphones d uring their dental treatment.
DVD Movies
We have a collection of DVD movies that are able to play through iglasses for our patient's viewing pleasure during dental treatments.
